"Every photographer wants to make good pictures, I think. Living on an Island as I am it is sometimes hard to be in another country in time if something is happening there. When I arrive at the scene there are hundreds of photographers taking the same pictures and I felt like I was competing in the Olympics but the race was yesterday. That is the reason I started going places where nobody cared about. It was hard because of the cold but I wanted to see what it was like living on the edge of the world as the Inuit’s do or, I should say, did." Ragnar Axelsson - Rax (Iceland)
