The musical evening will comprise of performances by Slovenian groups that will play live instrumental music, spanning from blues and funk roots, through rock ’n’ roll, to modern hip-hop and electronic music. Through the amplification of organic approaches to making music, the concept of amplified and broken days before will be nicely rounded. The harmonic concords in their historic symbolism will continue, and melt into the amalgam of new-age quasi-electronic genres, like nudisco, indie electronic music, nufunk, bassmusic, etc. It is about the combination of a return to music roots and an upgrade of old genres with new production possibilities and new technology. The return of disco and funk vibrations in the new dance music reflects the feeling of the lack of harmony in the Western civilization – apart from darker and deeper musical expressions in the last years, this music looks at more harmonic, happy, major-key frequencies.
