Harmonic concords – music workshop (integration of analogue and digital approaches to music)
INTRODUCTION – theoretical background to audio engineering and the right way to recording musical instruments in DAW (digital audio workstation, aka sequencer like Cubase).
CORE – practical work: recording, overdubbing, producing musical instruments and vocals in Cubase software and Ableton Live (presentation of optimal settings for good recordings, various ways and processes of effective integration of live recordings with electronic music, creative use of pedal effects for guitars in electronic music, right use of dynamic processors for processing sound and live recordings, postproduction of live recordings – creative ways of using recordings of vocals, guitars, or bass guitar for later use in electronic and organic music).
CONCLUSION – Jam session with the integration of electronic arsenal from the jam the day before, and creative use, or live performance with musical instruments (vocals, guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, analogue experiments).
