The Béjart Ballet Lausanne was founded in 1960 by the famous choreographer and dancer Maurice Béjart (1927-2007), whose choreographies shaped the tastes of his time.
His work is now successfully carried on by Gil Roman. The ballet "triptych" which Béjart Ballet Lausanne will perform in Ljubljana includes three of Maurice Béjart's most successful choreographies.
