Even though our cup of culture would still hold many more drops, we will have to say our goodbyes. However, this does not mean that our culture will stop with the end of this festival. Culture, like language, is alive and never ceases to evolve.
On the last day our expert jury on comics and haiku will once again make an appearance and present the winners of the competition who will be awarded useful prizes.
Rap has become a very strong movement in Maribor, courtesy of talented local artists. One of the most prominent figures of the local rap family is Tekochee Kru member Mito, a.k.a. Mighty-O, a.k.a. Majemi Majti, a.k.a. Majti Mito. His first solo album Egon was released in December 2011 and is filled with creative rhymes with a dose of undeniable street cred, set to the booming beats by producer Andrija Šulić-Shuljo, who always brings the freshest old school/new school hip-hop and dub step beats.
The concert will be preceded by an open-mic, giving the audience a chance to perform live on stage and provide an opening act for master Mito.
