International Gala Ballet Concert & Gaudeamus Gala

The International Gala Ballet Concert & Gaudeamus Gala, one of the most prominent ballet events of the year, will turn the Grand Hall of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor into a magical display of the finest ballet from the vaults of classical and modern ballet masterpieces which never fail to impress with their originality. Besides international stars of ballet from ten countries, who regularly enthral audiences around the world with their breath-taking mastery, the event will also feature young European ballet dancers who are only beginning their undoubtedly successful careers. The young dancers may not be as known to the general public as their prominent counterparts, yet their performances will surely leave the audience ecstatic.
The gala evening will feature performances by ballet artists from Russia, Cuba, Spain, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, just to name a few, as well as the most promising graduates of European dance academies from Hungary, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium and Slovenia.
