Presentation of literary newspaper LICHTUNGEN 129/2012

 In 2012, the year of Maribor’s reign as the European Capital of Culture, LICHTUNGEN newspaper decided to build on the long-standing partnership between Maribor and Graz by organizing an over-the-border literary event. The LICHTUNGEN issue No. 129/2012 features selected texts by twelve authors from Maribor and Graz in Slovene and German. The texts were previously presented in spring and autumn of 2012 at four literary evenings, two in Graz and two in Maribor.
Slovene texts were selected by Daniela Kocmut and Marjan Pungartnik have contributed to the strengthening of cultural and political ties between Maribor and Graz. The ties and relationships between both towns are also the focal points of the LICHTUNGEN art section and showcasing the immense potential of modern artwork. With contributions by: Nika Autor, G.R.A.M., Marianne Lang, Valentin Ruhry, son:DA, Igor Štromajer.
