The exhibition brings together 120 large-format photographs depicting scenes of nature in the USA and Slovenia. The photographs were taken by renowned photographers working for the National Geographic magazine.
The major goal of the exhibition is to draw attention to the importance of preserving our natural environment. The exhibition was also organized in support of the recent efforts of Slovenian ecologists to clean up the country from illegal rubbish damps. The clean-up operations carried out in Slovenia in 2010 and earlier this year mobilized 13 percent of the country's population and are considered to be among the most successful of their kind so far.
