Hunkler is after the “Silberkieseln” – silver stones/Detective story based on the novel by Hansjörg Schneider (Switzerland).
Commissioner Hunkeler’s final investigation proved less than successful: the diamond mule evaded the stakeout, the package was lost in the sewers of Basel and Lüdi sustained life-threatening injuries. Feeling guilty, the retired commissioner Hunkeler sets out on a quest to locate the “Silberkieseln” and, instead of enjoying his well-earned retirement, stumbles upon a most dangerous adventure.
