Keltic pir (the Dictionary of Standard Slovenian: "pir" feast, usually the occasional major event; feast: invite to, get to a "pir" / they prepare a rich wedding "pir").
A special feature of Keltic life were feasting or feast at which the participants expressed their affiliations, praised their heroic past and demonstrate their social status. Feast had its own specific and precise protocol, and have quite offten turned into big party in the modern sense of the word.
At the projections of modern-day gladiators the stories of Kelts and today's sports fuse together.
