The group performance One More Warrior Every Day is the result of a ten-day workshop with high school students, run by the artistic director of Via Negativa, Bojan Jablanovec, with the help of the performers Katarina Stegnar and Primož Bezjak. The workshop thematically revolves around the basics of self-performing and sought to emphasize the questions that come before the actual acting techniques or acting skills. Namely, what to perform and why perform it in the first place?
In the performance, high school students struggle to find their voice and simply to make some sort of sense on stage as they manoeuvre through various themes related to daily newspapers, the financial and economic crisis, retirement benefits, party politics, international democracy, global stock market reports, sports scores, natural catastrophes, sex scandals, traffic accidents, etc …
