The Scottish band Nazareth wrote themselves into the history of rock music in 1975 with their album Hair of the Dog, best remembered for the band's hard-hitting reworking of The Everly Brothers' ballad Love Hurts.
Over their long career, Nazareth have released 22 albums. Their latest album, Big Dogz, saw the light of day in 2011. The band's sound is particularly characterized by the astoundingly powerful voice of the singer Dan McCafferty and a distinctive guitar sound, which inspired numerous other rock bands. Nazareth's greatest hits include Hair of the Dog, Broken Down Angel, Razamanaz, My White Bicycle and many others.

Throughout their career of many years, Wishbone Ash have defied precise genre classification.
