On the 29th and 30th November between 12pm and 7pm additional screenings will be presented on Video-Performa.
Beginning on November 28th, the autumn section of the Performa programme will be heavy influenced by performance arts in literature. MKC Maribor, the long-time host and organizer of the event, have noticed a steady decline of interest for the traditional ways of public presentation of literature. According to the organizer, the presentations are in need of new and improved means of expression. Without further ado, Performa 2012 will feature some excellent examples of breathing new life into an old staple, including the audio-visual requiem Impulse by rokgre and Primož Oberžan, the literary-audio performance Silence Unleashed by Vesna Spreitzer and Andrej Hrvatin, the multimedia performance My Flesh is Your Flesh by Miša Gams and the multimedia literary performance For You by Jan Šmarčan and IAL-irrigator : (vs.) :b.a.N.g
