Rožmarinka is a soft, gentle and very pleasant unique doll made out of textile.
She has large unkempt hair made out of 100% Slovenian sheep’s wool and big brown, blue or green eyes.
She is 45 cm tall and although she only weighs a few decagrams, she is more suitable for children over 3 years due to her exuberant and puckish hair. Because she is tested in accordance with the General Safety of Products Act and the European Directive 2009/48/EC at the Institute of Public Health Maribor, she is also suitable for smaller children (0+). They can grab or suck on her; one simply has to be careful her hair does not find its way into the delicate child’s mouth.
She is wearing two attires:
The nether attire is made out of 100% variegated cotton.
The upper attire is the attire of our ancestors. The Pannonnian, Alpine and the upcoming Mediterranean type are only a part of the treasury of the Slovenian nation, with which Rožmarinka wishes to transmit her communicative value to today’s children. The attire is made out of 100% flax and 100% cotton.
Washing and drying by hand is recommended. Although the centrifuge of the washing machine would not harm her, it would give her headaches.
In January 2010, the Commission for evaluation of home craft and applied art products at the Chamber of Craft of Slovenia assigned Rožmarinka with the Arts & Craft Certificate Slovenija. The Protocol of Republic of Slovenia also showed its affection towards Rožmarinka, by taking her under its wings.
Rožmarin is Rožmarinka’s brother, who will soon join her.
