The Trošt Family is located in Podnanos, the first village you go through if you are coming to Vipava from Razdrto. Local people call it Šembid.
Wine cellar:
The processing of the grapes takes place in a special room with contemporary fermentation vessels with all the equipment for stirring and cooling of the lees.
After a long maceration (3 to 6 weeks) all the wines are taken to an arched stone cellar where they age in wooden and stainless steel tanks. To ensure the ageing at constant temperatures the cellar was built entirely under the ground.
Upgrading the tradition with contemporary knowledge and technology, which brings out the best in grapes, is the motto of our work.

Reservations can be made for wine tasting events or for groups to celebrate different occasions. Gift packs containing our wines are available as personal or business gifts.
