In the Rožankov forest at Podgora on the eastern side of Uršlja gora, stands a wooden building – the once, Mirta hospital. Due to its dilapidation the building was reconstructed, first in 1975 and later in 1980. In the summer of 1944 Rožank's son, Fika, built a temporary partisan hospital in a system of earth cabins. There, his sister Mirta was also tended to, and hence the hospital's name. Up until the end of the war many partisans from near and far were cared for there.
