The key orientation and activities of the Promotion and Information Material Production Department are based on innovative approaches to the production and distribution of promotional materials and products within the range of support activities to promote the country as a tourist destination and to promote tourist areas, tourist services and integrated tourist products that are important in national terms.Publications are produced under the principle of sustainable tourism, which is based on the principles of environmental, socio-responsible and economic sustainability in Slovenia, whereby the department pursues the strategic orientation of SPIRIT Slovenia in the area of developing and promoting green tourism. Publications are printed on environment-friendly paper from controlled, sustainably managed forests, and the selection of promotional products is tied to traditional, innovative and at the same time environment-friendly products. Our activities prompt users to view the electronic versions of publications and we operate under the principles of the Slovenia-Friendly Office project. The department also takes care of the selection of official Slovenian promotional products, which can be purchased at more than 70 sales points around the country. They are also available on the web in the E-store.
