BLACK AND WHITE WORLD, Chess Tournament for the ECOC Grand Prix - Members

The Public Institute Maribor 2012 and the company Šahohlačnik d.o.o. from Maribor invite applications for a series of tournaments for the ECOC GRAND PRIX 2012. The tournaments will be held in three categories: absolute (open to all players), youth (for players born in 1993 and younger) and children’s (for those born in 2001 and younger). All tournaments will take place on Saturdays, starting at 10 a.m. at the Vetrinj Mansion in Maribor (Vetrinjska Street 30). At each tournament, the right to participate will be givent to the first 40 applicants. The registration ends 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Pre-registrations are also possible. In the absolute and youth categories, there will be 9 rounds with a time limit of 5 minutes per player. The children’s category will have 7 rounds with a 10-minute time limit per player. No registration fees.

The player who despite applying does not participate in the tournament looses the right to take part in the further competition and will be deleted from the overall results. The cancellation of the registration is possible the day before the tournament by 6 p.m.
