Photo-packaging – studio photography workshop
The culinary and studio photography workshops will be taking place at the same time – mainly due to the simultaneous documentation of prepared foods. The products will be photographed in front of thematic backgrounds and on installations prepared especially for each product. Later, the photographs will be digitally retouched and printed on paper (A1) – from this paper a neat packaging will be made, in which the participants will be able to take their products home.
In the later stages of the project, the group of culinary experts will choose the best photographs, and join them with a short description and recipe in a smaller printed and digital booklet, which the young and their parents will receive.
The participants at the workshop will mainly learn about the use of studio lighting, various backgrounds, and installations. While documenting products, the participants will also learn how to retouch photographs in various programmes, such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
