September Folklore Evenings: International Folk Groups Parade

“September Folklore Evenings” is an international folklore festival, organised by JSKD Ptuj in cooperation with local folklore associations. This year, the festival is taking place for the second time. At the first festival, the organisers invited the folklore groups from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Resia valley, and Bela Krajina, along with local folklore groups. In five evenings, groups with various traditions will present themselves through dance, singing, and music.
On the fourth day, the international parade of the folklore groups will take place. Performing groups are: KUD Lola, Sarajevo; KUD Kitka, Dračevo (MAC); KUD Koprivnica (CRO); FS Dragatuš, Bela krajina; FD Markovci; FS KD Cirkulane; FD Lackova vas. The parade will be taking place at Vrazov Square, Mestni Square, and the Novi Square in Ptuj.
