An evening with a mixture of stand-up comedy and improvisational theatre should provide a new dose of laughter. Even though both styles often draw fits of laughter from the audience, they are nonetheless often unfairly equated. The event will show the differences between both genres which rule the modern world of laughter and provide stern competition to classic comedy.
Impro-league and stand-up workshops, held in morning and afternoon shifts, invite all performers who wish to upgrade their skills, as well as all those who wish to experience the thrill of going on stage and sharing the most embarrassing moments of their lives with the audience or simply trying to come up with a word, act or move which will make the audience burst into laughter. Later on, the participants will be able to put their newly acquired skills to the test at the KMŠ Club.
The impro-league workshops will be held by renowned Maribor improleaguers who, with the help of their “students”, will turn the evening into a fierce improvisational battle. The event will be hosted by a well-known stand-up comedian who is sure to draw tears of laughter from everyone’s eyes. The stand-up workshop will also be held by a seasoned stand-up comedy veteran who will be more than willing to share his/her secrets with aspiring comedians.
