LIBERATION ART PROJECT: SKUPAJ – MITEINANDER – TOGETHER – ENSEMBLE, Liberation 45, Exhibition opening

The project Liberation art project: skupaj – miteinander – together – ensemble was created under the initiative of artist Josef Schützenhöfer and university professor Klaus Zeyringer, who set out to analyse the impulsive reactions of the general public to events from the past and the current memory of selected controversial personalities from World War II. The aim of the project is to add an international artistic and social contribution to the debates revolving around shocking events in the past, as well as to encourage a public debate about topics and personalities connected with the events of World War II.
The exhibition will feature works by artists from Austria, Slovenia and the USA: Ruth Anderwald, Leonhard Grond, Joachim Baur, Simon Brugner, Will Contino, Jure Eržen, Emily Hines, Douglas Hoagg, Josef Schützenhöfer and Maja Smrekar.
