Jeruzalem, the king of the hills of Jeruzalemske gorice, has been, throughout the history, visited by the Romans, Turks, crusaders and many pilgrims. Its holy name, energy forces, pilgrim church and winding vineyard roads attract attention of many visitors again and again.

The legend of Jeruzalem, which talks about how crusaders stopped on Jeruzalem because of the nice people, good food and excellent wine is slowly becoming a reality. The »DVOREC JERUZALEM« opened its door to all who appreciate the harmony of selected food, excellent wine, original ambience and kind personnel.

A special mark to the history of Jeruzalem was given by the crusaders when they gifted the painting of the Sad Mother of God, and by the legend which talks about how the beauty of the environment, excellent wine and kind people give the impression of the closeness of Paradise.

»Dvorec Jeruzalem« will treat its guests as it is supposed for the king between the hills of the Jeruzalemske gorice – royally.

Original furnishing in the »bidermaier« style and framed old pictures of Jeruzalem and its vicinity provide information about the rich history of the place to all of the guests.

The countryside around Jeruzalem is especially marked by poplar trees, planted on the ridges of hills. Some claim, that they were planted by the side of the roads by Napoleon to show the way to his victorious army. Later, they were supposed to be planted as natural lightning rods. However, poplars or palms, as they are often referred to, have become, along with the flapper, a trademark of Jeruzalemske gorice.
