Under the mentorship of experienced personnel, the children are able to learn about different culture-related contents with special emphasis on ecological and social topics. The topics are addressed through various creative theatre and handicraft techniques. Roma children from the village of Brezje take part in all workshops.

Without further notice, dinosaurs are hatched from age-old dinosaur eggs and suddenly the prehistoric giants are faced with surviving in the modern world. Instead of marvelling at their presence, the people capture the poor dinosaurs and cram them into a circus in order to make a buck. Nataša and Lena, the lively circus members and newly-minted dinosaur-tamers, are struggling to tame the wild beasts and turn them into domestic animals, able to survive in the modern world.
The performance is a beautiful puppet spectacle, featuring an innovative and attractive mixture of dance, circus and magnificent puppets, some of them measuring up to twelve metres in length and seven metres in height.
Dinosaurs in the Circus, a spectacle of dance, circus and puppets, is based on characters taken from the picture-book by Lila Prap, 2011 Prešeren Foundation prize laureate.

Hopscotch project is part of the Town of Goga project within the Maribor 2012 – European Capital of Culture programme. The project was designed to help the emancipation of the Roma population.
