From the 2nd to the 7th of December, 4 Feature Films from Brazil will be shown in Maribor. The selection of the movie aims at showing the diversity of Contemporary Brazilian Film production. On the 2nd of April, "Broken Abril", based on a novel by Albanian writer Ismail Kadaré - perhaps one of the biggest critic's succes of Central do Brasil director Walter Salles - will open the Cycle. It will be followed, on the same day, by "2 Sons of Francisco", from Breno Silveira - one of the biggest Brazilian commercial successes of the 21st century, screening the touching story of two brothers. "Bossa Nova", from Bruno Barreto, a light romantic comedy set in Rio de Janeiro in the mood of Bossa Nova Music and "Hungarian Passport" - from Sandra Kogut, documenting the quest of a Brazilian with hungarian origins to receive a the nationality of her ancestors. "
