The Vipava valley region has 2566 ha of vineyards and produces as many as 25 varieties of wine. 120 wine makers produce excellent red and white wines but they are specially proud on Vipava local varieties such as “Zelen”, “Pinela” and “Klarnica”.
Meet the Vipava wines in Vinoteka Vipava, located on the Vipava main square nearby Tourist info center Vipava. We are offering 150 selected wines from local wine makers. In our basic offer are local wines (Zelen, Pinela and Klarnica), Ribolla gialla, Malvasia, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Muscatto, Merlot, Barbera, Cabernet sauvignon and Pinot Noir.
Among the high quality wine we present white and red cuvèe, rose wines, sparkling wines and special wines made from dry grape (sweet wines).
We accept individual guests or groups to 50 persons. Visitors who would like to know more about Vipava valley we recommend to watch a 15 minute long movie in Slovenian, English or Italian language.
Kindly invited from Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm or visit us on Saturday from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. During the summer time we are open every day from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.
