On the southern edge of the Maribor suburbs, along the north-east – south-west archaeological settlement axis (Radvanje – Betnava – Bohova – Hoče – Slivnica), we can find rich archaeological sites, partly presented “in situ” but mostly completely unknown to the public. During the prehistoric era, they were connected by the settlements along the outermost edges of the Pohorje Hills which gave them shelter, and during the antiquity, by the fertile area of the Roman road by the Drava River that shows both the direction and the power of the Roman colonization in the Podravje area.

The archaeological path links important archaeological findings that are partly presented (villa rustica and the Slavic cemetery in Radvanje, Poštela, burial mounds in Pivola, the Hoče crypt) and some discovered but not yet presented (the Zgornje Radvanje archaeological site, villas rusticas in Betnava, Razvanje and Bohova). Informative boards with the description of each location were placed in the area of these findings. For all those especially interested in this topic, a more detailed booklet in the form of a guidebook is also available.

Online version of archeological path is available on Lifetouch homepage - http://www.zivljenjenadotik.si/projekti/digitalni-vodici/arheoloska-pot/.
