Sampling sparkling wine to start an evening of vine and poetry.
Has there ever been a better beginning?
The sampling will be followed by a short lecture on wine and the youth. The study of top-notch wines will be further enriched by poetry readings and the evening will slowly but surely turn into a whirlwind of verses, which will take you to faraway dreamlands, into eons of burning love, confessions of painful truths and the private life of the author. Young poetic souls, who have been part of the KMŠ Prešeren Day celebrations, as well as poets and authors of the literary-linguistic magazine Liter jezika (A Litre of Language), will be more than glad to share their imagination, their feelings and their masterpieces.
Poets are beings who wear their heart on their sleeves and can fall in love many times a day. They fall in love with lines, shapes, smells, sounds and the rainbow spectrum found in grey clouds. The poetry evening is a chance for young poets to show the world the melody of their magical heartbeats and to share their worries and joys with other yearning, dreamy hearts.
The Liter jezika magazine is created by the students of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Maribor. The aim of the authors is to establish a rich literary and linguistic archive and create a magazine which will serve as a starting point for young and unproven authors
