Kanomlja is the largest and most extensive side-valley in the Idrijan Mountains, the valley is 14 km long and at its far end rises towards the Oblakov Vrh. It does not extend only along the serpentine road but rather rises into ravines and steep slopes on its sunny and shady sides.
