korito nad Lokavcem – Dolski maj – Blažeški pil – Ledenica (Ice cave) na Dolu – monument to Mati Gora at Predmeja – korito nad Lokavcem
The trail follows in the footsteps of people who used to tread these trails by foot. The trail commences by the stone trough above Lokavec by which teamsters once stopped to water horses and oxen. The first part of the trail is characterised by a sharp ascent; hence the triumph on the top is even greater as you discover the unforgettable view over the Vipava Valley surrounded by mountain ranges. Following a sharp ascent, a more flat trail gives you the opportunity to observe karrens, caves and abysses. The trail also boasts a number of cultural sights: Blažeški pil which is regarded as one of a few preserved pillar-shaped marks in Slovenia, the monument to Jožef Ressel, the inventor of the ship screw propeller, the monument to water… Almost every natural phenomenon has its own story to tell: joyful, roguish, horrible or sad, truthful in many cases. Stories, tales and anecdotes are now collected in many books, with their characters still present in people’s imagination. The reputation of a cunning hunter Laskar goes far beyond local borders. Even the Bošnar Abyss, home to Kulak monster hides its own story.
