Take a walk from Predmeja to Col along the edge and rocky ridges of the Gora Plateau. The trail takes off at the monument to Mati Gora (Mother Mountain) at Predmeja and continues through the undulating Karst landscape, beech woods, between pastures and meadows as well as through secluded farms. This trail offers by far the greatest number of views over the Vipava Valley, Karst and seaside.
Discover the stone spiral, a special snail-like sculpture leading to the Karst valley. The university thesis of the young architect Damjan Popelar symbolises the harmony between the nature and people. When Damjan was constructing the spiral, his family, friends and local people provided assistance to him.
